Policy Analyst

Contribute to legislative and policy tracking while producing clear, structured reports to support internal stakeholders in a dynamic maritime technology environment.

  • Attend and monitor congressional hearings, markups, briefings, and public forums
  • Track legislation, oversight activity, and policy developments relevant to the company
  • Produce clear, well-structured written reports for internal stakeholders, including:
  • Hearing summaries and takeaways
  • Legislative and regulatory updates
  • Support external engagement strategy by preparing background materials for meetings with congressional offices and agency staff
  • Maintain organized records of legislative activity, contacts, and reporting outputs
  • Assist with longer-form policy analyses, white papers, or position documents as needed
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align GR efforts
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong writing, content creation, and editing skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support communications initiatives.
