Platform Implementation Consultant
About the Role
The Platform Implementation Consultant (PIC) is a senior, client-facing role responsible for leading the successful implementation of the Brightidea Innovation Management platform across complex enterprise environments. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution, strategic implementation consulting, and client leadership.
This position is focused on software implementation, bridging the gap between what a client is trying to achieve and what the Brightidea platform can technically deliver. The PIC owns that translation end-to-end: understanding client vision, prescribing solutions, configuring the platform, managing scope and expectations, and driving adoption across the organization.
This role is critical to the success of Brightidea’s Professional Services team and requires someone who can both do the work and engage with the client.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Implementation & Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end software implementations for enterprise clients, from discovery through launch and expansion
- Translate client business processes and goals into scalable Brightidea configurations and product solutions
- Serve as the product authority and trusted advisor during client engagements
- Confidently prescribe best-practice solutions and guide clients away from non-viable approaches when necessary
- Balance client vision with platform capabilities, timelines, and scope
Platform Configuration & Development
- Build and manage complex Brightidea configurations, templates, and client systems
- Advise on and implement solutions involving design, Product APIs, and integrations
- Troubleshoot, test, and validate configurations to ensure quality delivery
- Explore, experiment, and self-solve technical challenges before escalating when needed
Strategic Implementation & Adoption
- Think beyond individual use cases to identify opportunities for broader platform adoption across the enterprise
- Help clients position Brightidea as a foundational system, not a one-off process
- Partner with internal teams to align implementations with long-term customer success and expansion goals
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Own project scope, documentation, schedules, and delivery plans
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and momentum
- Proactively communicate status, risks, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support sales and services leadership as needed during pre-sales or escalation scenarios
Enablement & Internal Contribution
- Deliver technical training to customers, including live sessions and recorded content
- Script and record standardized training videos
- Contribute to internal best practices, templates, and strategic services initiatives
