To further strengthen the robustness and scalability of our IMS platform, we are building a dedicated Level 3 engineering team focused on advanced debugging, root cause analysis, and production excellence.

As a Platform DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Python (m/f/d), you will support the stability and operability of our cloud-native IMS platform.

You will contribute to improving product observability, automation, and CI/CD processes, helping ensure reliable and efficient customer deployments.
 
This role is ideal for proactive junior to mid-level engineers who enjoy working with modern cloud-native systems and see this as an opportunity to grow into a key contributor driving continuous improvement in usability, operability, and developer experience.

Tasks

What you will do as Platform DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Python (m/f/d):
  • Support the resolution of production issues in cloud-native environments
  • Contribute to hotfix and temporary image release processes
  • Improve product observability, logging, and monitoring of our platform
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
  • Support Kubernetes-based deployments and configuration
  • Collaborate closely with L2 support, QA, and R&D teams
  • Continuously improve tooling and platform supportability

Requirements

What we are looking for
This role is open to junior and mid-level engineers with 1–3+ years of relevant professional experience who are motivated to grow in a cloud-native engineering environment.
We are looking for proactive engineers who move fast, take ownership, and enjoy solving real production problems.
 
Strongly preferred
  • Experience with Helm, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Exposure to release engineering or hotfix processes
  • Experience with AWS
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts
  • Background in telecom or communication systems
  • Hamburg-based or willing to relocate
