Plant Layout Engineer

• Develop and optimize layout concepts for systems and equipment in retrofit and new projects
• Prepare, update and check various plans such as layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting, and piping and component drawings
• Integrate and review design inputs from internal teams and external suppliers
• Coordinate layout data exchange across project teams, consortium partners, and engineering vendors
• Ensure maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies within your assigned project area

• Knowledge of Aveva E3D (formerly PDMS) and Navisworks; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage
• 3+ years of experience in plant/layout design for power, oil & gas, or industrial facilities, with expertise in structural and mechanical design, piping routing, and equipment arrangement
• Proven track record in developing layout concepts for complete plants, including technical risk assessment and solution development
• Fluent in English and Italian, German or French is a plus
• Self-driven, pragmatic and confident communicator with a strong focus on delivering solutions
