We are currently seeking detailed and organized Planning Coordinator looking to broaden his or her skills and attain valuable industry licensing to support Senior Planners, Financial Advisors, and Wealth Managers in servicing existing and potential clients. This important role schedules and tracks Senior Planner engagements, client referrals, client meetings, and estate plan reviews/evaluations. Additionally, the Planning Coordinator provides direct administrative support to the Director of Wealth Planning and the Director of Private Wealth. Qualifications: • Previous Client Associate or Administrative Assistant experience required, preferably in financial planning, business, finance, or economics • FPQP or CFP® designation preferred • Strong math and analytical skills - Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies for high-net-worth clients preferred • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills • Client focused with a proven ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client needs and requirements • Self-starter, problem-solver, and goal-oriented team player • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently • Superior technology skills. Experience with CRM and financial planning software preferred. Duties: • Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Wealth Planning and the Director of Private Wealth. • Serve as administrative assistant to Senior Planners. • Transcribe correspondence from Director of Wealth Planning and Director of Private Wealth to clients and Financial Advisors. • Gather and assess key elements of Trust and Estate Planning documents in order to determine Senior Planner assignment • Assist in all aspects of client meetings, seminars and pre-client meeting activities such as preparation of meeting agendas, client paperwork, engagement letters, Investment Policy statements, and asset allocation. • Assist in post-client meeting tasks such as development of next-step meetings, financial situation analyses, and coordination of planning implementation with outside professionals, if necessary. • Lead the coordination and execution of Wealth Planning conferences. • Compile and upload quarterly production report data. • Monitor Wealth Planning Group metrics and maintain accurate and current tracking sheets. • Oversee content and updates on the department’s internal web pages What we offer: Competitive salary plus excellent benefits and perks including, but not limited to: • Medical, Dental and Vision • Company 401(k)and ESOP contribution • Generous sick, vacation, and maternity/parental leave • Paid holidays • Professional Development Opportunities • Tuition Reimbursement ($15,000 lifetime cap) • Discounted personal insurance including home, auto and recreational vehicles • Charitable gift-matching program • Davidson Day of Giving – Our tradition of positively impacting communities in which we live and work. The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $63,000 – $90,000 annually. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
