We are seeking a Mid-Level PL/SQL Developer to join a collaborative, fast-paced development team supporting enterprise data solutions. This role focuses on the development, optimization, and support of database components that power critical business systems and reporting tools.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently on assigned deliverables while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, data integrity, and overall reliability. You’ll contribute to a mission-critical program that supports real users and business operations within an environment that values clean code, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.

 

As a PL/SQL Developer, what you will be doing:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain moderately complex to complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages.

  • Create, modify, and support Oracle database objects, including tables, materialized views, triggers, synonyms, user-defined types, nested tables, and collections.

  • Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries to support high-volume data processing and reporting.

  • Perform performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution for PL/SQL code in development and production environments.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to implement new functionality and refine existing solutions.

  • Translate technical and functional requirements into accurate data reports using tools such as Crystal Reports.

  • Contribute to business process analysis, system enhancements, and the development of reusable database components and conversion routines.

  • Follow established database standards, security requirements, and best practices, while providing input on improvements where appropriate.

 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Oracle databases using PL/SQL.

  • Demonstrated experience working as a PL/SQL Developer in a production environment.

  • Experience developing reports using Crystal Reports.

  • Proficiency with Oracle development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD.

  • Ability to independently develop, maintain, and troubleshoot efficient and secure database objects.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Active DHS, Secret, or Top Secret clearance.

  • Experience working with advanced Oracle features such as user-defined data types, nested tables, and collections.

  • Experience supporting data migration, system modernization, or business process improvement initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.

 

 

Our estimated salary range for this position is $76,000 - $110,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
