What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide primary care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic illnesses, minor injuries, and perform clinic-based procedures
- See approximately 16–18 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting
- Collaborate closely with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
- Provide newborn care and attend deliveries as needed (NRP required)
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and contribute to quality initiatives
- Manage treatment plans, prescriptions, and referrals as part of comprehensive patient care
- Participate in community health initiatives and cross-functional collaboration with hospital staff
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- MD or DO from an accredited program
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Pediatrics
- NRP certification (required for both roles)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Montana
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (but open to recent grads with strong interest in rural medicine)
- Passion for delivering patient-centered care in a rural community setting
