TPAPT is recruiting PA School Application and Personal Statement specialists to work with students applying to competitive PA programs throughout the US. We are looking for licensed PAs with a passion for mentoring to guide PA school through the application process.

Prior experience as a mentor or tutor or prior admissions committee experience is required. The candidate must be a strong communicator in writing and speaking. The role is part-time and can vary from a few hours a week to 15 hours per week. There is an onboarding process to orient and familiarize advisors with our process.

Compensation: $40/hr-$45hr

Responsibilities

  • Meet with pre-PA students on Zoom to help them plan out their coursework and extracurricular activities to become competitive for PA school
  • Guide applicants on the different steps involved in putting together a PA school application 
  • Guide applicants on how to write the personal statement, experience descriptions, and other essays for PA school
  • Review applicants' essays and provide written feedback and revisions 
  • Coach applicants on the PA school interview process, conduct mock interviews and provide feedback 

Requirements

  • An earned Bachelor's Degree
  • Earned PA license
  • Demonstrable expertise and experience with PA School admissions
  • 3-12 hours per week of availability
  • Familiarity with remote learning through Zoom or a similar web-conferencing tool
  • Past experience mentoring, tutoring, or advising students
  • Past experience in PA program admissions ideal
