TEAM The Physical Security Manager will be part of the Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CREWS) team, working closely with cross‑functional partners across multiple regions. This role will report directly to the Regional US/UK CREWS Manager and will collaborate with both security and workplace operations teams to ensure a safe and secure environment. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The Physical Security Manager will support the development, implementation, and oversight of the organization’s physical security program. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets across multiple locations. The ideal candidate brings strong operational awareness, experience in security operations or GSOC environments, and the ability to manage fast‑moving situations with sound judgment.
  • Support the development and implementation of physical security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Assist in conducting security assessments, audits, and risk evaluations of facilities
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day security operations across multiple sites
  • Support GSOC activities, including monitoring, incident management, and reporting
  • Assist with 24/7 security monitoring and alarm response coordination
  • Maintain situational awareness through monitoring of security systems and threat intelligence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities
  • Support incident response, investigations, and documentation
  • Assist in vendor management, maintenance of security systems, and technology lifecycle planning
  • Contribute to security awareness initiatives, training, and program documentation
  • Apply and continually learn industry best practices in physical security and operations center management
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7-8+ years of relevant experience in physical security, GSOC operations, or facilities management
  • Familiarity with international security regulations and compliance requirements in the US, UK, and Japan
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and monitoring platforms
  • Experience or familiarity with security operations center workflows, protocols, and technologies
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in shift‑based or on‑call environments and respond quickly to urgent situations
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in the physical security field
  • Experience supporting security for large corporate campuses, data centers, or high‑risk environments
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as video analytics, AI‑enhanced monitoring, or access control modernization
  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience with incident reporting tools or case‑management systems
  • Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, FSY, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms or emergency management principles

  • For positions based in Palo Alto, CA, the base pay ranges from $119,000 - $150,000 a year.

    Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. The total compensation offered to an employee will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and level.
