Raspberry Pi is seeking a Physical Design Manager to join our innovative team to help deliver our next generation products.  This is a hands-on role that will require technical leadership, mentoring and people management expertise delivering production quality designs.  You will be required to work closely with other parts of the ASIC team (design, DFT, verification, etc) to achieve PPA targets and meet project deadlines.  

This position is based at our office in Cambridge, UK, and is primarily an in-office role. You'll work with friendly, exceptionally talented colleagues who are dedicated to solving problems and producing high quality work that helps people and businesses around the world get things done with Raspberry Pi.

Requirements

This role requires a good level of experience and a wide range of skills:

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a electronics or a related field
  • Technical leadership experience running a physical design team
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Experience of working with contractors and remote teams
  • Experience in creating production tapeout quality designs
  • Good overall knowledge of the complete physical design flow
  • Experience in logic synthesis, SDC Constraints development, formal verification, static timing analysis
  • UPF generation and debug 
  • Proficient in TCL and Make

Desirable Requirements

  • Python, Verilog, systemVerilog
  • Experience with Cadence implementation tools Genus,  Innovus, Conformal, Tempus, PVS, Quantus & Voltus
