Senior/Staff Developer Advocate - Frontend Ecosystem (remote-only opportunity)

TuxCare is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate for the Frontend ecosystem (JavaScript, Angular, Node, npm, etc.) to shape how SecureChain is integrated into the modern frontend supply chain.

You’ll serve as the bridge between frontend developers, TuxCare’s product, and the broader JS ecosystem—educating internal teams on how packages flow through modern toolchains, guiding implementation of SBOM verification and artifact trust, and helping TuxCare become the trusted source for secure frontend artifacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate TuxCare on Frontend Packaging and Risks
    • Provide insight into how modern frontend teams use npm, pnpm, Yarn, bundlers, CDNs, and CI/CD to build and ship code.
    • Break down where the real attack surfaces are: malicious packages, typosquatting, shadow dependencies, postinstall scripts, etc.
    • Help TuxCare deeply understand how to meet frontend devs where they are.
  • Shape SecureChain for Frontend Workflows
    • Define how SBOM generation and artifact signing can be realistically implemented in JavaScript toolchains.
    • Collaborate with engineering on implementation and validation strategies.
    • Publish reference projects, demos, and developer-facing guides.
  • Use Your Network to Create Partnerships
    • Reach out to maintainers, vendors, platform teams (e.g., Vite, Netlify, Vercel), and security tooling providers.
    • Explore integration opportunities and build the case for making TuxCare the secure LTS provider for frontend artifacts.
    • Contribute ideas and code where it makes sense to drive ecosystem adoption.
  • Raise Awareness and Help Developers
    • Speak at JS/frontend conferences and meetups about practical supply chain security.
    • Create high-signal content: tutorials, breakdowns of real-world incidents, YouTube explainers.
    • Be a developer-first voice: helpful, technically credible, never preachy or vendor-speak-y.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript tooling, frontend frameworks, and packaging systems.
  • Proven experience advocating for or building secure developer workflows.
  • A track record of speaking, writing, or leading community education efforts.
  • Ability to move fluidly between developer conversations and product strategy.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing.
