PhD Wildlife Biology Expert

As a Wildlife Biology Expert, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our projects and make a positive impact on how players engage with and learn about wildlife. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of our in-game wildlife and ecosystems. Your deep knowledge of wildlife biology, conservation, and ecological systems will help shape the realistic behavior, interactions, and habitats of virtual animals. Working closely with our game designers, artists, and developers, you will help create a seamless integration of scientific principles and gaming experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive research on wildlife species, behavior, ecology, and conservation practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop accurate and engaging in-game wildlife behaviors and ecosystems
• Provide guidance and expertise on ecological interactions, population dynamics, and habitat design
• Review and refine game content to ensure scientific accuracy and educational value
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in wildlife biology and conservation
• Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources related to wildlife biology within our gaming projects

• Doctoral degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise in wildlife biology, with a focus on species behavior, ecological systems, and conservation practices
• Strong analytical and research skills, with experience conducting fieldwork and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey scientific concepts to interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in using GIS software and statistical analysis tools
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
• Passion for gaming and the ability to translate scientific knowledge into engaging and immersive experiences is a plus
