As a Animator Expert, you will play a key role in bringing our Metaverse projects to life. Your expertise in 3D animation will be essential in creating captivating and realistic character and/or animal movements. You will collaborate closely with our art and design teams, utilizing your technical skills and artistic vision to deliver high-quality animations that elevate the immersive experience for our users.
Responsibilities
- Create visually stunning and realistic 3D character/animal animations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure animations align with the project's creative direction and technical requirements
- Implement and refine animation pipelines and workflows to optimize efficiency and maintain quality standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior animators, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and contribute to the evolution of our projects
- Mentoring and supporting other team members.
- Doctoral degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Animator, preferably within the gaming industry or related fields
- Expert knowledge of 3D animation software, such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender
- Strong understanding of character animation principles, timing, and weight distribution
- Proven ability to create realistic and dynamic animations for characters and/or animals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
- Experience with motion capture technology and its integration into animations
- Facial animation and lip-syncing experience
- Skinning and rigging expertise for characters
