Job Summary

Skilled with Performance Tester to evaluate the speed, responsiveness, scalability, and stability of our applications under various workloads. The ideal will have experience designing and executing performance tests, analyzing results, and working closely with developers and system engineers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Responsibilities & Duties 

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling or similar to simulate load and analyze system behavior.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to understand performance testing requirements.
• Analyze test results to identify performance issues, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement.
• Provide detailed test reports and recommend optimization strategies.
• Participate in capacity planning and system tuning activities.
• Develop performance test scripts, scenarios, and test data.
• Ensure performance testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Stay current with industry trends and new performance testing tools or techniques.

Qualifications & Skills
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in performance testing of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in one or more performance testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
• Strong understanding of performance metrics (CPU, memory, network, response time, throughput).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for custom test scripts.
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and backend architecture.
• Ability to analyze logs, graphs, and metrics using tools like Grafana, Dynatrace.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
