About the Role  

This pivotal role demands a highly analytical and results-driven Performance Marketing Strategist to lead the development and execution of sophisticated, full-funnel performance marketing campaigns. You will be instrumental in driving measurable business growth by optimizing media efficiency, leveraging advanced data insights, and fostering strategic partnerships with agencies and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the digital media landscape, expert platform knowledge, and a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable strategies that deliver exceptional ROI.

What You’ll Do 

Strategic Media Planning & Development:

  • Own the strategic development and refinement of comprehensive media plans, with a strong emphasis on digital channels, collaborating closely with the Media Lead and external media agencies.
  • Drive the integration of performance marketing strategies across all brand touchpoints (paid, owned, earned) to ensure cohesive, timely, and highly efficient campaign execution.
  • Proactively identify and champion innovative media ideas and experimental initiatives to unlock new growth opportunities and optimize campaign performance.

Performance Analysis & Optimization:

  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis, leveraging advanced analytics tools to generate actionable insights for Integrated Category Reviews and Media Reviews.
  • Develop and implement a robust data-driven strategy to continuously optimize campaign performance, ensuring alignment with key business objectives and KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CPA, LTV, Conversion Rate).
  • Formulate and apply strategic frameworks to diagnose complex business problems within the performance marketing domain, develop testable hypotheses, and deliver data-backed recommendations for improvement.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary strategic owner for paid media initiatives across assigned clients/brands, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that extend beyond traditional media KPIs, focusing on holistic business growth and market share expansion.
  • Drive continuous media performance management, including rigorous competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and define optimal media sufficiency across the entire media mix.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, upskilling internal marketing teams in digital performance best practices through collaborative training and knowledge sharing.

Local Market Strategy & Innovation:

  • Develop and localize comprehensive media strategies in partnership with brand teams, ensuring optimal media spend effectiveness and efficiency across all paid, owned, and earned channels.

What You’ll Need  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in leading and executing full-funnel performance marketing campaigns within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating expertise in total media planning across multiple paid media platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience in Digital Media and Performance Marketing, with a strong understanding of attribution models, audience segmentation, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing strategic projects and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve significant business growth KPIs directly attributed to paid media strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience with leading performance marketing platforms, including:
    • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping)
    • Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram)
    • TikTok Ads
    • LinkedIn Ads
  • Programmatic Media Buying experience is highly desirable.
  • Current certifications in Google Media Buying (SEM, YouTube, Display) and Meta Certifications (Planning and Media Buying) are required.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to diverse audiences.
