JOB SUMMARY
Within their location, supports the development and maintenance of a Performance Excellence culture particularly in the areas of continuous improvement and organizational and personal learning. Leads and supports manufacturing initiatives that improve organizational performance and effectiveness. Demonstrates an understanding of the Performance Excellence business model and how it is applied in their location. Leads learning and development initiatives and supports plant leadership in implementing company and manufacturing training procedures and practices. Serves as the liaison between Corporate Performance Excellence and Learning and Development resources and the plant. Performs all general training duties, coordinates the plant certification and training programs, ensuring all training is documented and tracked. Provides reports to plant and corporate leadership as required. Collaborates with Performance Excellence/L&D resources across the organization to promote the transfer of knowledge; identify share and embed best practices; and help each other solve problems.
