Performance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer to join our team and ensure the scalability, stability, and reliability of our applications and systems under varying workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive performance test strategies.
• Identify system bottlenecks and work with development/infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor system behavior under load and validate performance improvements.
• Deliver detailed and accurate test reports with insights and recommendations.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks, scripts, and documentation.

Requirements

JMeter Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for designing, developing, and executing performance, load, stress, and endurance tests
• Ability to create and maintain test scripts, parameterization, correlation, and assertions
• Experience analyzing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks
• Integration of JMeter with CI/CD pipelines is a plus

Shell Scripting

• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash or similar)
• Ability to automate performance test executions, log analysis, and environment setup
• Experience with cron jobs and automation workflows

Windows Scripting

• Experience with Windows batch scripting and/or PowerShell

Reporting & Analysis

• Strong ability to generate clear, structured, and detailed performance reports
• Experience creating dashboards and executive summaries for stakeholders
• Ability to interpret performance metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, network, response time, throughput, etc.)
