About the role

The key focus of this role is to provide end-to-end systems ownership across SAP SuccessFactors, with strong capability across configuration, data structures, integrations, and user support.

This role acts as the primary point of accountability for the SuccessFactors environment, with hands-on responsibility for diagnosing, rectifying, and resolving system issues internally, rather than relying on outsourced support models. The role requires a deep technical understanding of how data flows within SuccessFactors and between SuccessFactors and downstream and upstream systems, and the ability to independently configure and optimise solutions.

In addition, this role provides people leadership to a SuccessFactors systems team, setting direction, priorities, and standards of delivery, while building capability and ensuring sustainable support and outcomes.

This Role is a 12 Month Max Term Contract

Responsibilities

  • Managing the SuccessFactors environment end-to-end, including configuration, data models, integrations, security, and release impacts
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a P&C Support team, setting clear priorities, managing workloads, and fostering strong technical and customer-focused capability
  • Understanding and leveraging the tools within SuccessFactors to send and receive data across integrated systems, with strong ownership of data, integrations, and technical design
  • Partnering closely with the business, acting as the first point of contact for new requirements and translating those needs into scalable, production-ready system solutions
  • Maintaining a strong appreciation of the end-to-end processes that support the SuccessFactors ecosystem and ensuring system changes align with those processes
  • Managing vendor relationships with SAP SuccessFactors, including release management, issue escalation, roadmap alignment, and support models
  • Owning delivery of people systems initiatives by effectively scoping work, planning resources, managing budgets and profit and loss considerations, and ensuring high-quality execution

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong experience in System Administration, Configuration, and User Support for SAP SuccessFactors, with the ability to independently configure and troubleshoot solutions
  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring systems or technical teams, with accountability for delivery, prioritisation, and capability development
  • Proven ability to understand and manage SuccessFactors integrations and data flows, including diagnosing and rectifying issues without reliance on outsourced providers
  • Experience partnering with the business and subject matter experts to drive and deliver business outcomes and initiatives, bringing new requirements to life within the system
  • Capability to act as the interface between business users and external system support teams, guiding stakeholders on system updates, release timing, and process impact
  • Strong vendor relationship management skills, particularly with SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience with additional HR systems or capabilities such as check work rights solutions or SmartRecruiters is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to scope work effectively, lead others, and deliver against agreed outcomes
