This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can handle sensitive information with professionalism and strict confidentiality. The People Relations Coordinator will help execute key departmental processes, manage case documentation, and support workplace investigations. What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary administrative support to the People Relations team ensuring daily operations run efficiently and are completed timely
  • Track, log, and monitor all incoming requests and cases, ensuring proper documentation is created, meetings are scheduled, and necessary actions are completed
  • Manage the team's shared mailbox and serve as a first point of contact for employees seeking guidance on employee relations policies and processes
  • Assist the People Relations team in maintaining accurate and thorough employee relations case files
  • Conduct regular audits of the case management system and Workday to ensure timely case resolution
  • Support the People Relations team in conducting workplace investigations, including taking detailed interview notes and preparing comprehensive investigation reports
  • Execute the employee off-boarding process by processing terminations in Workday, sending employee exit packets, and coordinating the return of company assets
  • Respond to unemployment claims providing required documentation by the specified deadlines
  • Prepare communications related to the roll out of company-wide policy updates
  • Produce routine and ad-hoc reports showing case metrics, dashboards, and trends for PR Leadership and prepare presentations for meetings and leadership updates
  • Coordinate and manage People Relations projects, such as annual handbook updates, creation of training programs, and writing departmental SOPs
  • Research and assist the team with staying up to date on employment law requirements and changes
  • What You'll Need
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR, preferred
  • Job Experience: 3-5 years of experience in human resources and/or employee relations
  • System Experience: experience with Workday and an employee relations case management system, preferred
  • Communication: the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, including individual contributors and members of management. This role requires superb written communication skills to prepare comprehensive and objective business and employee relations case documentation.
  • Organization and Time Management: The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of work. This role will require you to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while keeping detailed records and ensuring timely follow up. This role will require you to respond effectively to changing priorities as the majority of the People Relations team's work is reactive and difficult to predict or plan.
  • Analytical and Data Driven Thinking: The ability to analyze trends in employee relations cases, performance management outcomes, and employee feedback. This role will require you to use data to identify patterns that will inform decisions about policies, practices, or strategies.
