Role Overview  We’re looking for a People Partner who’s ready to grow from a strong HR Generalist into a trusted business partner. In this role, you’ll support the day‑to‑day employee experience, run key people programs, and start building your advisory and strategic capabilities. You’ll work closely with — and learn directly from — our CPO, gaining exposure to business priorities, people strategy, and organizational health.  This role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their HR expertise and develop into a more strategic People Partner over time.  Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Support & Experience 
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and processes 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data hygiene in our HRIS (HiBob) 
  • Collaborate with the Payroll & Benefits Manager on transitions, leaves, and policy communication 

  • Manager Support & Early Advisory 
  • Assist frontline managers in applying policies and navigating basic people issues 
  • Participate in performance discussions and employee relations cases alongside the CPO 
  • Prepare communications, documentation, and follow‑ups for people‑related initiatives 

  • People Programs & Operational Excellence 
  • Coordinate key people programs (engagement surveys, performance cycles, recognition efforts) 
  • Support DEI initiatives and culture‑building activities 
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local employment regulations 

  • Strategic Development & Business Exposure 
  • Attend department meetings to understand team goals, dynamics, and talent needs 
  • Analyze employee sentiment and turnover data to surface insights 
  • Start contributing observations that inform people strategy and organizational effectiveness 
  • Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or people operations role (high‑growth or global SaaS environments are a plus) 
  • Strong understanding of HR fundamentals: onboarding, policy management, ER basics, compliance 
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, basic reporting, and internal communication tools 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities independently 
  • Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams is helpful 
  • Proficiency in French and English is a must
  • What Would Make You Stand Out
  • Experience with Canadian immigration processes, including work permit renewals, collaborating with immigration consultants on LMIAs and CSQs, and managing government‑approved position allocations. 
  • Bilingual communication skills (English & French) with the ability to navigate sensitive people matters and partner effectively with teams across North America and Europe. 
  • Strong compliance background, such as SOC2/ISO audits, Quebec’s 1% training contribution, CNESST salary mass declaration, and communication with government agencies. 
  • Hands‑on HRIS expertise, ideally with HiBob, and a proactive approach to optimizing configuration, workflows, and data accuracy. 
  • Experience supporting U.S. employee populations, with a practical understanding of employment practices, benefits, and cross‑border considerations. 
  • Systems‑ and process‑oriented thinking, using data and scalable workflows to enhance People Operations in a growing tech environment.
