People Operations Coordinator - ServiceCore

Company Overview

ServiceCore and Docket are rapidly-growing field-service Software as a Service platforms serving the portable sanitation and dumpster industries. Named the #80 fastest-growing software company in America by Inc. 5,000, we’re redefining how our customers manage their businesses. Our software helps hardworking business owners save time, stay organized, and get paid faster by streamlining job management, route optimization, inventory tracking, and billing automation.  Our customers work hard, and so do we—giving them tools to get more done with less stress.

We live by our core values of Love Our Customers, Be Real, Give a Shit, Deliver Results and of course Keep it Fun. ServiceCore provides hard-working individuals the opportunity to work and grow within an agile, fast-paced start-up environment. We are proud of our accomplishments and take our jobs seriously while not taking ourselves too seriously.   We believe in growing together, celebrating successes, and empowering each team member to make a real impact.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, process-driven People Operations Coordinator to be the backbone of our HR function. ServiceCore is scaling rapidly (we’ve hired enough teammates to field a Broncos roster in the last 10 months!), and we are transitioning our People function from "firefighting" to "strategic building."

You will be the operational engine that keeps the department running. This role will independently manage and optimize the critical day-to-day workflows—onboarding logistics, data integrity, and employee support. This is not just a "paper pushing" role; it is an opportunity to build the infrastructure that will support our next stage of growth.  You will report to the Director of People Operations as a People Operations Coordinator.

What You’ll Do:

Own the Employee Lifecycle Logistics (Onboarding & Offboarding)

  • The "White Glove" Welcome: Oversee and refine the New Hire Experience: Independently manage the onboarding lifecycle. Exercise judgment to resolve background check discrepancies, troubleshoot complex onboarding blockers, and partner with IT to audit and improve our equipment provisioning process.
  • Smooth Exits: Own and optimize the offboarding process, ensuring a compliant and respectful exit experience.

HR Tech & Data Integrity

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for BambooHR and Maintain impeccable data accuracy within our HR tech stack (BambooHR as our source of truth, plus Lattice for performance).
  • Analyze data integrity trends to identify gaps and design new workflows to ensure compliance.
  • Implementation and maintenance of new tools as we scale our tech stack in 2026.
  • Partner with Finance to audit payroll changes before processing.

Tier 1 Employee Support & Experience

  • Serve as the trusted advisor for employees regarding benefits and company policy, interpret complex situations to provide guidance and escalate strategic risks.
  • Own and optimize the internal knowledge base/resource hub, ensuring employees can "self-serve" answers to common questions.
  • Assist with culture initiatives, company events, and values reinforcement programs that keep our eNPS high.
  • Own and optimize state compliance in concert with our HRIS.

Talent Acquisition Coordination (as needed)

  • Drive the velocity of the hiring process by managing pipeline logistics, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve our hiring processes.
  • Note: You won't be recruiting, but you will ensure the recruiting machine runs on time.

Who You Are:

  • The Unblocker: You see a pile of paperwork or a messy inbox not as a burden, but as a puzzle to be solved. You love building systems that make lists obsolete.
  • Process-Obsessed: In People Ops, accuracy is trust. You don't just find errors, you find the root cause and fix the process so it doesn't happen again.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working in HRIS systems (BambooHR experience is a huge plus) and modern collaboration tools like Slack and G-Suite.
  • High EQ: You handle sensitive employee information with extreme confidentiality and treat every employee interaction with empathy and care.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR, Recruiting, or Administrative coordination role.
  • Experience with BambooHR and/or Lattice is highly preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills (you may be drafting company-wide announcements and emails).
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment where "putting out fires" is sometimes part of the job.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and can-do attitude

Work Environment

  • Casual, open-office environment
  • Tuesdays and Wednesday in office for local employees (free parking!)
  • Fully stocked kitchen with fresh food and coffee at our Denver HQ
