In this role, you will be at the heart of our HR operations for our Egypt-based teams, combining precision and operational excellence with a genuine care for employee experience. You’ll make sure HR processes run smoothly, data is accurate, and employees feel supported, heard, and engaged. Your work will directly shape the culture, efficiency, and satisfaction of the team as Lucidya continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

Employment Lifecycle Administration

  • Own the employee journey from hire to exit - managing offers, contracts, amendments, promotions, transfers, and exits
  • Prepare employment-related letters and documentation that are compliant with Egyptian labor law
  • Keep employee records accurate and up-to-date in HR systems
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding, including timely system updates and documentation
  • Maintain organizational structure and reporting lines in the HR system for clear visibility
  • Act as a go-to point of contact for employees and managers on HR documentation and administrative queries

Data, Systems, Time & Attendance, and Payroll Support

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and ensure integrity through regular audits
  • Prepare and verify payroll inputs, including allowances, variable payments, and deductions
  • Assist employees and managers with system-related questions or corrections
  • Reconcile discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate payroll processing

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure all HR actions comply with Egyptian labor laws, internal policies, and employment regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with labor law changes and advise on necessary updates to practices or documentation
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and demonstrating compliance
  • Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and integrity

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Coordinate company events, team activities, and engagement initiatives
  • Support HR leadership in initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture
  • Assist with internal communications and people-related operational projects to keep employees informed and engaged

Who You Are

  • You’re detail-oriented and organized - nothing slips through the cracks, and you enjoy keeping systems and processes accurate
  • You’re proactive - you anticipate needs before they arise and solve HR issues before they become problems
  • You have a hands-on mindset and aren’t afraid to jump in to support the team, whether it’s payroll, compliance, or engagement initiatives
  • You’re collaborative - you work well across teams and enjoy being a trusted partner to employees and managers alike
  • You have experience managing HR operations, employee records, payroll inputs, and HRIS systems, ideally in tech or fast-growing companies (startups)
  • You know Egyptian labor law and HR compliance requirements, and you can apply them practically to everyday operations
  • You’re tech-savvy - comfortable using HRIS, document management systems, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, and learning new platforms
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in both Arabic and English, making HR guidance accessible and understandable
  • You care about employee experience - you help create a supportive, engaging, and efficient workplace
