People Operations (HR) Internship (Summer 2026) EMEA

Locus Robotics is a leader in the rapidly growing eCommerce order fulfillment optimization space. Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency improvement over cart-picking operations, by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots. All this is accomplished while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System, utilizing and optimizing existing facility infrastructure. The People Operations Intern role is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for students interested in launching a career in Human Resources within a global organization. Interns will gain real-world experience supporting People Operations across the EMEA region, develop essential HR skills, and contribute to projects that support our employees and culture across multiple countries. This internship is designed to provide mentorship, professional growth, and meaningful exposure to international HR in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Hybrid position located at our Amsterdam, Netherlands office, requiring at least four (4) days per week onsite. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the global onboarding experience by supporting new hire communications, onboarding preparation, HR documentation, and accurate employee record management across the EMEA region.
• Maintain and audit employee personnel files and system data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with local employment guidelines and internal standards.
• Support day-to-day people operations, including processing documents, collecting required forms, and assisting with internal reporting and data audits.
• Collaborate on global HR projects such as process improvements, policy updates, employee engagement initiatives, and the local implementation of global programs.
• Assist with coordinating HR events, training sessions, and workshops across the EMEA region.
• Support internal communications by creating materials, newsletters, or intranet updates as needed.
• Act as a point of contact for employees and managers by assisting with general people-related questions and requests.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a hybrid role in our Amsterdam, Netherlands office (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for 2026 Summer internship period (May/June - August). 
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Studies, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn about HR operations in a multi-country, international environment.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a demonstrated ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency with software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Drive, and Zoom.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural and remote teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
