We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Generalist to strengthen and scale our People function in a fully remote environment. This role blends hands-on execution with true ownership — managing core People processes while improving systems, building automations, and creating scalable infrastructure to support a growing team.
You’ll partner closely with Finance and leadership to ensure operational excellence across payroll inputs, headcount tracking, compliance, and the full employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do:
Own & Scale People Operations
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end
Maintain accurate team member data in Deel (HRIS) and related systems
Process job changes, promotions, and compensation updates
Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, contractor updates, and headcount tracking
Own People systems administration and ensure data integrity across platforms
Build & Improve Systems
Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows
Build and maintain system integrations between HRIS, payroll, and other internal tools
Improve documentation, workflows, and reporting processes
Help design scalable People infrastructure to support growth
Support Employee Lifecycle & Team Experience
Serve as a point of contact for team member questions (policies, benefits, payroll, programs)
Support performance review and compensation cycles
Help ensure compliance across geographies in partnership with external providers
Help plan and execute company offsites, team events, and engagement initiatives
Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience in HR or People Operations in a generalist or similar role
Experience managing employee lifecycle processes end-to-end
Strong HRIS experience (Deel experience a plus)
Experience owning systems, improving workflows, or building process automations
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Clear and professional communication skills
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
Experience in a startup or high-growth company is a plus
