About us

We are looking for a structured and proactive People Operations Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg or Berlin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all administrative areas of People Operations. From managing employee data and contracts to optimizing internal workflows, you’ll help create a seamless experience for our team and ensure our people processes run efficiently and accurately.

Tasks

What you’ll do  

  • Prepare and manage employment contractsreference letters, and other employee-related documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee data in Personioensuring accuracydata integrity, and GDPR compliance.
  • Manage time-off requestsabsence records, and vacation balances in our HRIS (Personio).
  • Conduct regular audits of employee data and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support remote employees with their administrative needsincluding documentation and local compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of new toolssystems, and workflows.
  • Create reports and data insights from Personio to support people-related decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law and internal policies across all People Operations processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of People Operations to ensure smooth coordination and efficient workflows.

Requirements

Our ideal new colleague  

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in People Operations, HR administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detailreliability, and a hands-on mindset.
  • Good knowledge of Personio and confidence in managing digital HR processes.
  • Good understanding of German labor law and administrative best practices.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and very good English skills.
  • You enjoy bringing structure to processes and continuously improving how things are done.
