People Operations Coordinator

That’s where you come in.

We’re hiring a People Operations Coordinator to design, build, and scale the onboarding, internal communications, and People Operations systems that support our growing team. This role is about turning complexity into clarity, creating structure that helps employees ramp faster, managers operate with confidence, and teams stay aligned as we grow. This is an in-person role based out of our Vancouver office.

This is a hands-on role. You won’t just create and document processes, you’ll build them, run them, and continuously improve them.

What You’ll Actually Do 

  • Optimize and run onboarding systems 
    Build structured, role-aware onboarding experiences that take new hires from offer acceptance through their first 90 days with clarity and confidence. 
  • Create scalable people processes 
    Map current workflows, design better future-state processes, and implement systems that reduce friction and ambiguity for managers and employees. 
  • Build internal communications rhythms
    Establish clear, repeatable people communications across email, Teams, and internal knowledge bases so teams know what’s happening and why. 
  • Optimize People Ops tools and automation
    Configure and improve HR systems (e.g., BambooHR) to track onboarding, ownership, and progress, reducing manual follow-ups and administrative overhead. 
  • Enable managers and teams
    Create playbooks, guides, and self-serve resources that help managers and employees succeed without constant intervention. 
  • Use data to improve experience
    Track onboarding outcomes, participation, and feedback to continuously improve how people experience Apera AI.
