About the Role

This is a unique full-time role that balances the structural importance of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) with the creative drive of Employee Engagement. You will serve as the crucial link between our company and our external payroll vendor, ensuring operational excellence and ironclad confidentiality. Simultaneously, you will be a cultural ambassador, injecting energy into the workplace by planning events, managing vendor relationships for events/activities, and creating internal communication content.

Responsibilities

1. C&B and Payroll Operations:

  • Support our Accounting team as the primary point of contact for our external payroll vendor; verify and confirm monthly payroll data (including new hires, departures, and adjustments) to ensure accurate processing by the vendor;
  • Manage all internal paperwork and administrative tasks related to compensation changes, benefits enrollment, employee contracts and records maintenance;
  • Handle inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding salary structures, benefits, and payroll processes with a service-oriented approach.

2. Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Bring a positive, energetic vibe to the team and actively champion company culture event initiatives;
  • Lead the planning and execution of internal events, team-building activities, and wellness programs, managing relationships with external event vendors;
  • Write, update, and distribute internal announcements to keep the company informed and connected to the on-going engagement activities.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of total professional experience, ideally similar to HR, People Operations, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Engagement and Culture, etc.; Experience in expatriate management tasks is a huge plus!;
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR management or in relevant fields is preferred;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage varied stakeholders (conversational English and above is required);
  • Knowledge of salary structure, compensation & benefits understanding;‌ Exposure to effective Vietnamese Labor Law, employment regulations and payroll practices are big plus!;
  • High morality and integrity: A deep and unwavering understanding of the definition of confidentiality and the importance of handling sensitive data with care;
  • Proactive Approach to Culture: A demonstrated enthusiasm for cultivating a dynamic and supportive environment through engaging employee initiatives and active community building;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
