We recognise the diversity shortcomings of our industry and are committed to driving change. Equally, we recognise the major impact that climate change is having on our world and work every day towards being industry leaders in a carbon neutral future.Keeping everybody safe during the COVID-19 pandemic The health and safety of our people is massively important to us and when Coronavirus reached the countries our people work in, we worked incredibly hard to mobilise home-working for almost all of our people very early. We have been working this way since March and have had great feedback from our team on how we have adapted to this new way of working. During this time, we have also continued to successfully recruit new people to the business and onboard them smoothly – all using technologies such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack and so on – and we offer all candidates the option to be interviewed over Zoom rather than face-to-face. Given the positive transition to home-working we are not rushing to return to ‘normal’ and will be taking a very steady approach; phasing our return to the office for the team members who need it over a period of months, carefully aligning with government guidance, and going above and beyond where we can. So far, we have undergone meticulous risk assessments and have installed screening on desks, new signage and of course lots of soap and hand sanitiser! We have, however, always supported home working, and this period has solidified value of being flexible for us. We know that this pandemic will change the way we work longer term and we are carefully looking at how we can continue to support home-working after the situation has subsided. We will be looking forward to seeing everyone’s faces soon!
