We are looking for a proactive and organised People Generalist to support the delivery of core HR operations across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the UK Regional HR Business Partner, you will provide operational HR support, help manage administrative processes and support managers with straightforward employee relations matters, escalating more complex cases to the Regional People Partner.

Role Responsibilities

Employee Relations & People Support

  • Provide first-line HR support to managers and employees on routine people queries, policies and processes.
  • Support and manage low complexity employee relations matters such as informal performance concerns, probation reviews, sickness absence monitoring and basic disciplinary or grievance processes.
  • Prepare documentation including letters, outcome notes and meeting packs using approved templates.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk employee relations matters to the Regional People Partner, ensuring accurate case records and timelines are maintained.
  • Support the coordination and administration of formal People processes and meetings.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, contract preparation, changes to employment terms and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and support data accuracy for payroll and reporting purposes.
  • Support benefits administration, ensuring employee queries are responded to efficiently.
    Assist with compliance checks and ensure employee documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Support the Global Head of People Operations in maintaining consistent and efficient People processes.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Support the coordination and delivery of onboarding activities for new joiners, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Assist with induction scheduling, documentation and stakeholder coordination.
  • Gather feedback from new starters and support improvements to onboarding processes.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across People projects, such as onboarding improvements, policy updates or engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support implementation of agreed improvements.
  • Support reporting activities by preparing basic people metrics and data summaries.

Culture & Engagement Support

  • Support delivery of engagement initiatives, benefits communications and People team activities.
  • Act as an approachable point of contact for employee queries, promoting company values and positive employee experience.

Requirements

Essential Experience:

  • Experience working in an HR administrative, Assistant or Officer role.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting employee relations processes or HR case administration.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience preparing HR documentation such as contracts, letters and meeting notes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate HR data and records.
  • Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with managers and employees.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting People projects or process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to working in a fast-paced or growing organisation.
  • Experience supporting onboarding or employee experience activities.
  • Exposure to global or multi-regional teams.
