For our team based in Warsaw and remotely, we are looking for a People & Culture Team Leader who will be responsible for partnering with the management to create, develop and implement strategies that will attract, engage, and develop employees and build a desired culture. We are open to candidates with different expertise levels who want to further develop their skills and experience in this role.
In this position, you will:
Lead the People and Recruitment team.
Own and develop all People processes, including talent acquisition, employment, onboarding, employee development, and offboarding.
Manage talent acquisition activities, including improvement of sourcing strategies, assurance of a positive candidate experience, and retention of top talent across the company.
Design and implement employee development initiatives that drive a high-performance culture and a growth mindset focused on development and career progression.
Build and maintain company culture, promote employee morale, and support achievement of company goals.
Manage and continuously improve people operations, including internal initiatives and activities, communication, performance reviews, compensation, benefits, and payroll oversight.
Plan, establish, and oversee employer branding activities to position the company as a top employer in the AI & Big Data industry, including social media presence and internal initiatives.
Own the company’s approach to employee relations by coaching and advising managers on performance management, sensitive cases, and terminations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and best practices, mitigating risks, and protecting the company’s reputation.
What you’ll need to succeed in this role:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or senior advisory role within HR/People teams, ideally in IT or tech companies.
Strong track record in Recruitment and People Operations across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee development, and HR projects.
Strong project management and execution skills, with experience driving HR initiatives to completion using structured approaches and tools.
Excellent advisory and influencing skills, able to partner with managers on recruitment, employee relations, and performance-related topics.
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives.
High level of personal resilience, goal-orientation, and attention to quality.
Strong understanding of People-related metrics and ability to leverage data-driven insights.
Understanding of Polish labor law and its practical application in HR processes.
Strong preference for candidates based in Warsaw, with openness to working from our office from time to time.
Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written).
