Key responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and employees across Group Functions to deliver tailored people solutions that strengthen capability, culture and performance.
  • Provide advice and coaching on a wide range of people matters, including performance management, reward, engagement, development and employee relations, ensuring alignment with P&C frameworks and policies.

  • Support cyclical P&C activities such as goal setting, performance reviews, remuneration reviews and talent processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of P&C processes, systems and policies.
  • Support Senior Business Partners on operating model, organisational design and change initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee engagement feedback processes, including Peakon.

About you

You’re a pragmatic and collaborative P&C professional who enjoys partnering with leaders and solving real-world people challenges. You’re confident in your judgement, calm under pressure, and comfortable operating in environments where not everything is black and white.

Qualifications & experience

  • 3–4 years’ experience in a P&C Business Partner, HR Advisor or Generalist role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility.
  • A practical, outcome-focused approach, prioritising what will genuinely make a difference.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to tailor advice to context and business needs.
  • Confidence handling complex or sensitive issues in a constructive, balanced way.
  • Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate people data into actionable insights.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, particularly when supporting leaders through change.

Why Ampol
