We are looking for an enthusiastic People Business Partner to join the People team at Grover, full-time and minimum 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) at our Berlin HQ. 

Reporting directly to our Director of People & Culture, you will have the autonomy to design programs from scratch, influence leadership, and build the people-focused structural backbone of a business model that is critical for the future of sustainable consumption. 🎯  What you will contribute:

  • Strategic Sparring: Act as the dedicated partner to leadership, providing fearless coaching and guidance on organizational design, talent management, and team dynamics.
  • Operational Excellence: Take full ownership of the HR lifecycle for your business areas. You don’t wait for instructions; you identify gaps and bridge them proactively.
  • HRIS & Process Optimization: Serve as the architect of our HR systems. You’ll lead the charge in optimizing our HRIS to ensure it’s a tool for efficiency, not a bottleneck.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Translate "people vibes" into people metrics. You’ll analyze turnover, engagement, and performance data to tell a story and drive executive decision-making.
  • Conflict Resolution: Navigate complex employee relations with confidence. You don't avoid difficult conversations - you facilitate them to reach the best outcome for both the human and the business.

🤝 What you bring:

  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in Germany, preferably in high-growth B2C tech environments or fast-paced startups. 
  • Independence: You are a self-starter who doesn't need a manual. You thrive when given a goal and the freedom to find the best way to reach it.
  • Conflict Resilience: You have "thick skin" and high emotional intelligence. You can challenge senior stakeholders and handle sensitive situations with poise and directness.
  • Systems Thinking: You are tech-savvy and have a track record of implementing or optimizing HRIS systems (e.g., Personio, Workday, or HiBob).
  • Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable with spreadsheets and dashboards. You understand that "people data" is the key to proving HR’s value to the bottom line.
  • Proactive Attitude: You don't just spot problems; you bring three potential solutions to the table.
  • Communication: Fluent English is a must; +B2 German skills are a significant plus given our Berlin roots and DACH focus.
