About The Role

As a People & Culture Intern, you will support all aspects of the People & Culture function, including People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Performance Management, Engagement, and People Programs.

This role is designed to provide broad exposure to how People & Culture works in a fast-growing, high-performance organisation. You will work closely with different members of the People team, supporting day-to-day execution as well as special projects across the employee lifecycle.

This is a hands-on, learning-focused role for someone curious about people, culture, systems, and how organisations scale.

Here are a couple of things you'll be doing:

  • People Operations & Administration:
    • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, checklists, and coordination.
    • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records, HR trackers, and internal databases.
    • Support audits, documentation updates, and general HR administration.
    • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Talent Acquisition & Hiring Support:
    • Support hiring activities across teams by coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates.
    • Assist with candidate screening tasks and interview logistics.
    • Support employer branding initiatives such as job postings, career pages, and hiring communications.
    • Help ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from start to finish.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement:
    • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and wellness activities.
    • Assist with internal communications related to People programs and initiatives.
    • Support culture-building activities and initiatives across teams.
  • Performance Management & People Programs:
    • Assist the People team during performance review cycles (goal-setting, QPRs, documentation, reporting).
    • Support preparation of performance-related trackers, reports, and materials.
    • Assist with learning, development, and internal capability-building initiatives.
  • Research, Insights & Projects:
    • Conduct research on HR best practices, labour laws, engagement trends, and people programs.
    • Support People Analytics tasks such as data cleaning, simple reporting, and insights gathering.
    • Assist with process improvement initiatives, SOP documentation, and new People projects.
  • General Team Support:
    • Provide administrative and operational support across the People & Culture team as needed.
    • Support ad-hoc People initiatives and cross-functional projects.
    • Learn and contribute across different People functions rather than being limited to a single area.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate with a strong interest in People, HR, Culture, or Organisational Development.
  • Curious and eager to learn across multiple People & Culture disciplines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Proactive, reliable, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and openness to feedback.
  • Creative thinker interested in improving how people experience work.
  • Basic proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with HR tools is a plus but not required.
  • You bring positive energy, are comfortable with change and can effectively manage your workload.
  • Finally, you are an out-of-the-box thinker and think of new ways to disrupt the status quo.

What You'll Gain

  • End-to-end exposure to People Operations, Hiring, Performance, Engagement, and Culture.
  • Practical experience supporting real People & Culture initiatives in a scaling organisation.
  • Mentorship and structured learning from an experienced People team.
  • A strong foundation for a career in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent, or Organisational roles.

Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Head of People & Culture.
