People and Culture Generalist

AI overview

Shape and progress the People and Culture department in Australia, focusing on stakeholder relations and operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.

Established only three years ago, the People & Culture team is rapidly evolving toward an APAC focus. While there is substantial foundational work required for our new Australian business, this lack of existing precedent offers an unparalleled chance to actively shape and progress the department in every domain.

Reporting to and working alongside the People & Culture Lead this is a true generalist role with strong focus on stakeholder relationships, operational excellence and dynamic projects that create a positive work environment for all staff. You will be responsible for the full gamut of the employee life cycle from onboarding, ER, performance management through to offboarding.

With 7 studios spread across the country we divide our week between home and the studios in Melbourne (Box Hill and Fitzroy) 1-2 day a week. Working within a globally disperse business relies on clear communication and sometimes odd hours but opens exciting opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects and initiatives both locally and globally.

You are passionate about your job, thrive to be part of a business that can not only support your personal career development, but a business that aims to be an industry leader in the People and Culture space.

  • Self-Motivated, organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong administrative, planning, time management and organisational skills

We are only considering those professionals with full working rights in Australia. Unfortunately sponsorship and relocation is not available for this role.

  • Competitive Market Rate Remuneration
  • Genuine flexible working – Although you will need to attend the studios in Fitzroy and Box Hill office a couple of days a week, you will have the flexibility to work from home if you choose to.
  • Opportunity to work with our regional APAC partners, opening up to global opportunities.
  • And the best part – you get to be part of the team that generate all the employee perks and benefits!
