PED Workshop Manager (m/f/x)
Abuja, Port Harcourt, Nigeria

As a Workshop Manager for Earthmoving Machinery, you will play a key role in an innovative and dynamic company. You will lead a dedicated team, optimize operations, and ensure our machines are always in top condition – all using your technical expertise and passion for machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Coordination: You will manage a motivated team of 50–300 employee, Workshop Supervisors as well as technical staff across multiple workshops

• Technical Expertise: You will handle maintenance, repairs, and inspections of earthmoving machines – from excavators to bulldozers

• Process Optimization: You will develop and implement efficient workflows to enhance workshop performance

• Customer Liaison: You will coordinate with customers, field service, and your team to deliver quick and accurate solutions

• Safety & Quality Management: You will ensure the highest safety standards and maintain the quality of machines at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or similar; Master’s in Engineering or Industrial Management is a plus

• 5–10 years’ experience in heavy equipment, plant, or vehicle maintenance, including preventive and corrective work

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Proven ability to manage technical, operational, and financial responsibilities in complex fleet or construction environments

• Clear, confident communication skills with both teams and customers

• A safety-, quality-, and results-driven mindset

• English proficiency (B2/C1)
