Foundation Risk Partners is adding a P&C Claims Analyst to their dynamic team.

This is a 100% remote opening with a preference on EST hours. 

The P&C Claims Analyst is responsible for working closely with our clients, documenting client claims, and reviewing client correspondence with examiners and adjusters.  This position also monitors client claims regarding carrier responsibility to clients and terms and conditions of client policies.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze and interpret insurance policies and carrier communications (e.g., Reservation of Rights, Denials, Coverage Disputes).
  • Report new P&C claims to brokers/carriers and oversee the lifecycle of each claim.
  • Evaluate and process claims to ensure accurate, compliant settlements.
  • Provides effective guidance to the adjustment of claims for property losses and liability claims
  • Monitor liability determinations and coverage positions taken by carriers.
  • Communicate with clients, adjusters, and carriers regarding open claims and next steps.
  • Collaborate with the internal claims team on strategy, including litigated matters.
  • Track counsel involvement and litigation updates on behalf of clients.
  • Provide insights into commercial property and liability claim developments.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to policy interpretation, coverage gaps, or delays.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and insurance agency management software (EPIC)
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient level written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Flexible and creative thinker regarding continuous improvements in efficiency and processes and the ability to analyze and evaluate results to choose the best solutions and solve problems on complex issues

Education and Experience:

  • Licensing: Active All-Lines or P&C Adjuster License in home state (required)
  • Experience: 3–5 years handling property and casualty insurance claims (e.g., commercial property, liability, coverage disputes)
  • Deep understanding of commercial insurance policies and claims procedures
  • Strong policy and commercial/personal lines property claim handling experience
  • Prior carrier experience is preferred but not required.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Ability to occasionally lift at least 10lbs
  • Ability to sit/work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to travel

This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of FRP's total compensation package for employees.
