What will you be doing?

 Time & Attendance

• Manage ADP time and attendance setup (schedules, pay rules, timecard approvals).
• Support employees and managers with time entry, corrections and approvals.
• Open and close pay periods and maintain timekeeping accuracy.

Payroll Processing & Maintenance

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried U.S. employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal legislation related to payroll. 
• Conduct regular audits of payroll integrations to ensure accurate inputs
• Audit and reconcile timecards, resolve missing punches and overtime discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
• Process garnishments and benefit-related deductions.
• Produce payroll register for review and approval
• Perform payroll reconciliations.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and deductions.

Reporting & Compliance

• Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Support tax reconciliations and year-end processes, including W-2 reviews.
• Generate and distribute standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Maintain secure documentation for audit readiness and compliance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Serve as the payroll point of contact for HR, Finance, and Accounting.
• Recommend process improvements and participate in payroll-related projects.
• Provide backup support to the Senior Manager, Payroll

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of full-cycle multi-state U.S. payroll experience.
• High level of professional discretion.
• Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (payroll and time & attendance).
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of customer service and professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What will make you stand out?

• Deep knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, including reports, time & attendance, and payroll modules.
• Experience independently managing full-cycle payroll with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of U.S. payroll compliance across multiple states
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll and system issues efficiently
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially when supporting employees and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
