We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of payroll regulations, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with payroll systems to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction. This is a fully onsite role in Windsor Mill MD Salary: $23-27/hour Responsibilities:
  • Process full-cycle payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly basis for all employees.
  • Review and validate timecards, overtime, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and leave balances.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure employee data is up to date in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, including earnings summaries, tax filings, and audit documentation.
  • Respond to employee questions related to pay, deductions, and payroll policies.
  • Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s, 1099s, and tax reconciliations.
  • Support payroll system updates, testing, and process improvements.
  • Requirements:
  • 3+ years payroll and accounts payable experience
