On behalf of our client, one of the leading companies in the FMCG industry with more than 100 years of presence in Greece, we are seeking to hire a Payroll Specialist.

The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payment to employees. The Payroll Specialist will also manage a variety of HR-related procedures, contributing to a positive, efficient, and legally compliant working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and employment changes.
  • Submit all required payroll documentation to local authorities (e.g., Ergani, EFKA).
  • Assist in managing employee benefits, leaves, and other entitlements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and provide insights or recommendations on payroll-related matters to management.
  • Support HR in various administrative tasks and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience with Epsilon Net ERP software is required.
  • Solid understanding of Greek payroll regulations, labor laws, and social security requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
