Payroll Specialist

On behalf of our client, a highly reputable educational group and among the best in Europe, we are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. You will also manage various HR-related procedures, contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Maintaining and updating employee records, including salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
• Submitting relevant payroll documentation to local authorities, including Ergani and EFKA.
• Assisting with the management of employee benefits and leave entitlements.
• Preparing payroll reports and provide insights to management on payroll-related issues.
• Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll processing or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel; prior experience with Epsilon net ERP software would be considered an asset.
• In-depth understanding of payroll regulations and labor laws.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Greek and English.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
