We have partnered with a fast growing health care company based in Brentwood, CA. The team is looking for an experienced Payroll Practitioner – Level 2 to manage multi-state payroll for a growing organization. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience and has processed payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple states.
Responsibilities:
Accurately process payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple states.
Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations.
Handle payroll tax reporting and multi-state taxation issues.
Assist in system upgrades and payroll process improvements.
Provide support for audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of payroll processing experience.
Experience with multi-state payroll.
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
