We have partnered with a fast growing health care company based in Brentwood, CA. The team is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Practitioner – Level 1 to join the payroll team. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of payroll experience who are eager to expand their knowledge and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for 500+ employees accurately and on time.
Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
Address employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
Support payroll tax filings and deductions.
Participate in payroll system training and development.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of payroll processing experience.
Experience handling payroll for 500+ employees.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
