Payroll Analyst

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for capture and analyze the entire payroll process.

Responsibilities: 

  •  Keep information updated in the TRESS system
  • Keep information updated in the WORKDAY system
  • Process and follow up on savings fund loans
  • Provide support as needed to the Payroll Specialist
  • Daily report of man-hours (Foundry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Vic Press, and Assembly)
  • Enter incidents such as: vacations, shift changes, overtime, paid or unpaid leave
  • Analyze payment capacity for savings fund loans and submit requests
  • Enter loans into the system
  • Keep information in TRESS and WORKDAY updated
  • Register new hires in the TRESS system / submit new hire registrations to IDSE
  • Review IDSE to ensure there are no rejected transactions / file documents
  • Take fingerprints of new hires
  • Publish pre-payroll
  • Prepare and deliver badges during orientation
  • Upload HSBC layout to activate payroll cards and send by email
  • Once HSBC accounts are obtained, enter them into the system
  • Request “INFONAVIT withholding forms” by phone for new hires
  • Enter Fonacot credits
  • Request SI VALE cards for new hires
  • Upload activated SI VALE account information into TRESS
  • Send pre-payroll to supervisors for approval
  • Send final payroll to the accounting firm for tax review
  • Print and distribute pay stubs to employees on all shifts
  • Calculate final settlements for absences or resignations
  • Send administrative schedule report to the gatehouse
  • Send a report to the Payroll Specialist confirming that TRESS information matches WORKDAY
  • Deliver SI VALE cards to employees

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Financial Administration, or a related field.
  • English desirable.
  • Experience using the TRESS system.
  • Strong knowledge of IDSE and SUA.
  • 2 years of experience in payroll processes.
  • Knowledge of labor relations and personnel administration.
  • Proficiency in wages and salaries management.
  • Knowledge and proper interpretation of the Federal Labor Law.
  • Experience with Workday or other HR management systems is desirable.
