Payment Owner - Greater China

Role Overview

We are looking for a Payment Owner for ZFX Greater China region, responsible for the selection, evaluation, and continuous optimization of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) in the GC market.

This role is data-driven and judgment-oriented. The ideal candidate should be able to assess both existing and potential PSPs based on actual payment performance, make informed decisions and trade-offs, and clearly identify the current and future payment needs of the GC region.

This is a role that emphasizes ownership and decision-making capability, rather than a purely execution-focused Payment Operations position.

Responsibilities

• Select, evaluate, and recommend suitable Payment Service Providers (PSPs) for the GC region based on data and actual operational performance.
• Conduct systematic analysis of existing PSPs, including but not limited to:
• Deposit and withdrawal success rates
• Failure reason breakdowns
• Withdrawal processing time
• Cost structure and fees
• Risk indicators and exceptions
• Assess the real payment needs of the GC region by considering business scale, client behavior, and regional characteristics, and propose practical and actionable optimization solutions.
• Work closely with PSPs, Payment Operations, Finance, and Customer Support teams to continuously improve and adjust payment channels.
• Assist in establishing PSP evaluation standards, key metrics, and basic governance frameworks to enhance transparency and controllability of the payment system.
• Follow up on payment-related issues, exceptions, and optimization initiatives within the GC region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above. Preferred academic backgrounds include (but are not limited to): Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 2–3 years or above of experience in payments, fintech, or related fields, with hands-on exposure to PSP management, payment operations, or payment channel analysis.
• Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to draw conclusions based on data rather than relying solely on experience.
• High sensitivity to key payment metrics such as success rates, costs, and risks.
• Strong ownership mindset, able to take responsibility for regional payment outcomes rather than only executing assigned tasks.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese; capable of basic professional communication in English.
• Experience in FX / CFD / trading platforms is a plus, but not mandatory.
