Paving Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Asphalt Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of asphalt paving projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, asphalt operations, and team leadership. This role involves coordinating contractors, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. Salary: $90,000-110,000/year Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of asphalt projects from planning and budgeting to execution and final inspection.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring on-time completion of projects.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are implemented.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance.

Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders and senior management.

Lead and mentor project staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Requirements:

3+ years commercial paving/asphalt experience

VDOT experience
