Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 2 Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants for our Kingston ON Location

Your Role

  • You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
  • You can provide outstanding customer service
  • You have excellent communication skills

Requirements

Your Profile

You must possess the following qualifications:

  • You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification (please note, we provide training for First Responder if needed)
  • You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note, we provide BLS training if needed)
  • You possess a valid G class driving license.
  • You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
  • You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
  • You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
  • You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
  • You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
  • You are comfortable with 12hrs shifts
  • You have night and weekend availability if requested.

Base is in Kingston ON so you will want to live nearby.

    • We offer variety of shifts- currently seeking 1 PT Candidate for the 8am to 8pm shift, Thursday and Friday and 2 candidates for a 12 hour shift, 8:30am to 8:30pm Fridays only.
