What We’re Looking For
BreatheSuite is seeking a highly articulate, organized, and results-driven Patient Enrollment Specialist to drive enrollment into our virtual pulmonary rehab program. The ideal candidate must possess the clinical foundation to confidently explain our program, combined with the motivation and persistence to enroll patients who may be hesitant, resistant, or present logistical barriers. This role is crucial for our growth and directly impacts the number of patients who benefit from our life-changing program.
Key Responsibilities
-
Patient Enrollment & Barrier Resolution: Serve as the primary enrollment driver. You will provide clear, in-depth education on the program's clinical value and process. Your main goal is to proactively identify, address, and overcome patient concerns, resistance, and logistical barriers (e.g., time, technology, lack of motivation) to ensure maximum enrollment of eligible referrals.
-
Proactive Patient Outreach & Engagement: Manage a high-volume pipeline of referrals, utilizing persistent and empathetic follow-up to convert referrals into active program participants. This includes managing a schedule of outreach calls and tracking patient status meticulously.
-
Clinical Education & Inquiry Management: Act as a reliable resource to address patient inquiries about program structure, logistics, and the general benefits of pulmonary rehabilitation, escalating only complex clinical questions to the appropriate registered physical therapists.
-
Administrative & Operational Support: Perform program coordination tasks as required to enhance the efficiency of the enrollment and onboarding workflow, ensuring a seamless handoff to the clinical team.
Qualifications
-
Healthcare Background (Preferred): Previous experience or education in a clinical healthcare field (e.g., Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Health Sciences, Physical Therapist Assistant/Aide, or Medical Sales) is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of chronic respiratory conditions and rehabilitation principles.
-
Pulmonary Rehab Knowledge: Ability to clearly and accurately articulate the clinical benefits, components, and process of pulmonary rehabilitation with confidence.
-
Persuasive & Empathetic Communication: Proven ability to explain complex health information simply and empathetically. Must demonstrate strong active listening skills and the resilience to persuade and motivate hesitant patients to overcome their initial reservations and commit to the program.
-
High Enrollment Drive (Soft Sales Mindset): A self-starter with inherent motivation to meet enrollment targets. Must be comfortable discussing the program's value proposition with the objective of securing a patient's commitment.
-
Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience managing a high-touch pipeline of referrals and coordinating schedules across multiple time zones.
-
Tech Savvy: Comfortable working remotely and utilizing patient management software (CRM experience a plus), virtual communication platforms, and the BreatheSuite dashboard.
Location
This is a remote position. Preference will be given to those in the PST/MST time zone (or those willing to work those hours) to align with our virtual clinic's regular operating hours.
