About the Role:

This field-based role is all about being on the road, meeting customers face-to-face and driving sales through strong relationships. You’ll be responsible for growing parts and service sales by building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities within customer fleets, and promoting MIMICO’s full parts and service offering.

You’ll work closely with the Parts Manager, Service teams, and suppliers to drive revenue across parts, attachments, service labour, and service contracts, while maintaining accurate sales and customer data. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships through regular field visits
  • Managing customer enquiries, quoting, pricing, and follow-up
  • Driving sales growth across parts and promoting workshop and field service labour and increasing service contract penetration
  • Prospecting new and inactive customers and conducting undercarriage inspections
  • Maintaining CRM records, sales pipeline, and customer fleet data

About You:

You’re a proactive, confident salesperson who enjoys being out in the field and engaging directly with customers. You’re organised, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  You will bring:

  • Experience in external parts or field sales (mechanical or heavy equipment industry preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence following up quotes
  • A customer-first, results-driven sales approach
  • Ability to manage workload, meet targets, and work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region
  • CRM experience; crushing, screening, or mining exposure advantageous
