Based in the Takanini branch and reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be the go-to expert for both external customers and internal teams. Every day brings variety - supporting service technicians, handling enquiries, processing orders, and actively driving sales growth.

You will take ownership of building customer trust and revenue by offering smart solutions, following up quotes, and strengthening our presence in the market. Key responsibilities:

  • Respond quickly and professionally to customers with accurate pricing and availability
  • Support workshop staff with parts queries
  • Process invoices, credits, and orders using MIMICO’s Orion system
  • Make outbound calls to grow sales and prospect new customers
  • Conduct market research and pricing reviews
  • Use supplier portals for quotes and ordering
  • Maintain high health & safety standards

We are seeking someone well-presented, proactive, and eager to learn. You will be an excellent communicator with a positive attitude who delivers great customer service. You will handle priorities calmly under pressure and stay driven to meet targets and achieve results.  Other key skills include.

  • Experience in external parts sales with a solid understanding of stock control and inward/outward goods
  • Strong quote follow-up habits and the ability to think fast
  • Ideally you have mechanical or heavy equipment, crushing, screening, or mining knowledge
  • Strong administration skills with intermediate computer skills: Excel experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is helpful (training provided if needed)
