About the role

Klaviyo is committed to the continued growth of our partner ecosystem. Supporting this commitment, we are looking to hire the role of Partner Marketing Manager, Field Events. Collectively, partners from the Klaviyo ecosystem help increase awareness about the Klaviyo platform and its ability to power smarter digital relationships. Beyond awareness, Klaviyo partners help refer new customers to Klaviyo, develop technology and integrations that enable Klaviyo users to deliver deeper personalized experiences, and much more.

The heart of this role is focused on the profitable growth of Klaviyo through the acquisition, activation, and engagement of the Klaviyo partner ecosystem. As such, you will work closely with all other members of the Partner Marketing Team, many members and roles of the broader marketing team, as well as the Partnership Sales team. You will report to the Director of Partner Marketing, Field Events.

The idea of ‘field’ is broad, this role will support live field events, virtual events, our ten pole moments, but above all, focus on building and deepening relationships with partners through field activations. We’re looking to leverage your collective marketing background to deploy field activities at scale, backed by a drive to hit pipeline goals.

Your work will revolve around oversight, activation, measurement and reporting of:

  • At scale field events
  • Relationships focused events (both virtual and live)
  • Events that focus on acquisition of partners, activation of partners, and acceleration of partners
  • A subset of Klaviyo in-market field events, such as our Partner Day, Partner Tours, and some industry event activations will also require your attention

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Be a driving energy towards growth for Klaviyo’s Partner Marketing Team.
  • Create and test for the most impactful partner marketing field events; we have some programs in flight that you will assume responsibility for but new ideas are expected. We’re also looking to leverage your prior experience to see immediate traction.
  • Orchestrate programs that will engage and activate key agency partners to fuel awareness of Klaviyo, marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and pipeline creation.

Who You Are

  • A self-starter and someone who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • A metrics-oriented creative thinker—standard partner marketing programs are just that, standard. You’ll support the creation and activation of marquee programs that feels less like a sales tactic and more like an amazing and active community
  • A proven Partner Marketer—you’ve done this before and are now looking to break the mold in your new role (6-8+ years of experience, largely in Partner Marketing)
  • An educator who can communicate on the importance of Partner Marketing programs
  • Budget aware; you’re comfortable owning a budget, and operating to the budget. You’re also not scared to ask for more budget when the idea is right
  • A strong partner, someone who will work closely with the overall team to scale our efforts.
  • A risk taker, while you’re calculated with the risks you take, you also know that building the next great program won’t come without risk. To stand out in a crowded market you know we need to support standing up something remarkable.
  • Someone who emphatically nodded at all of the above
